
ROAR Women in Music Festival – Street Shows

Get ready for a groundbreaking celebration of music, empowerment, and community as ROAR FEST and its celebration of women in music takes centre stage across St Kilda on the 2025 Labour Day long weekend, March 8–9.
Coinciding with global celebrations of International Women’s Day, events include Headline Concert, hosted by Ella Hooper, and including Kate Ceberano, Tania Doko, WILSN, Gabriella Cilmi and Gypsy Lee, Celebrating International Women’s Day – In Conversation” Panel with ROAR Ambassadors, Grassroots sessions panels, Women in Music Photo Exhibition, Inaugural Women in Music St Kilda guided walking tours and more.

As part of ROAR FEST, ROAR Street Show performances will be held in the Fitzroy Street Precinct on Saturday 8th March between 2pm – 8pm and the Acland Village Precinct on Sunday, 9th March, from 1pm – 7pm. It will showcase a rich tapestry of musical traditions, cultures and genres.
All Street Shows will be played on the street (weather permitting) and will be free and accessible to all – just pop on down and watch! Alternately, you can book a table at the venue and grab a drink, coffee or food and watch. Make sure, when booking, you let them know you want to be on a table where you can see the act.
